SERVICES OFFERED AT THE READING
ROOM
The following educational services are offered to learners ages
4-Adult:
- Private reading and writing instruction
- Comprehensive testing and evaluation of
language/reading/writing abilities
- Diagnosis of learning problems including dyslexia and
dysgraphia
- Aid in the determination of ADD/ADHD
- Reading therapy for learners diagnosed with LD,
ADD/ADHD, Tourette's Syndrom, Asperger's, and
Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Determination of specific learning needs in the areas
of language development, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, study
strategies, and writing
- Academic tutoring in language development, reading,
writing, organization, and study skills
- PSAT/SAT/ACT verbal and writing practice and training
- Guidance through the IEP process
- Conferencing with teachers
- Distance Learning via Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype
